1. Introduction

Welcome to R-Logistic. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of https://rlogistic.in/ and the logistics and transportation services offered by our business.

Our services include Packers and Movers, Car Transportation, Truck Booking, Trailer Booking, ODC Cargo, and Container Transportation across India.

By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation, or booking our services, you agree to the applicable terms outlined below. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the relevant services.

2. Services Offered

R-Logistic provides transportation and logistics solutions for individuals, households, and businesses.

Our services may include:

  • Packers and Movers: Packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and relocation services as agreed.
  • Car Transportation: Transportation of cars and other agreed vehicles between specified locations.
  • Truck Booking: Truck arrangements for commercial goods, industrial materials, and other eligible cargo.
  • Trailer Booking: Transportation arrangements for heavy machinery, industrial equipment, and large loads.
  • ODC Cargo: Transportation planning for oversized and over-dimensional cargo, subject to route, permit, and vehicle requirements.
  • Container Transportation: Transportation of packaged goods, commercial shipments, and other suitable cargo.

The actual scope of each service will depend on the quotation, booking confirmation, and any separate written agreement.

3. Quotations and Booking Confirmation

Customers may submit their transportation requirements through our website, phone, email, WhatsApp, or other available communication channels.

A quotation may depend on the cargo type, weight, dimensions, distance, route, vehicle requirements, loading and unloading arrangements, permits, tolls, and other relevant factors.

A quotation is not a confirmed booking unless accepted and confirmed by R-Logistic in accordance with the agreed booking process.

Customers should verify the pickup location, destination, shipment details, applicable charges, and proposed service timeline before confirming a booking.

Any changes to the original requirements may result in revised charges or delivery timelines.

4. Pricing and Payments

Transportation charges will be communicated through the relevant quotation, invoice, booking confirmation, or written agreement.

Depending on the shipment, charges may include transportation costs, loading and unloading, packing, tolls, permits, waiting time, additional handling, or other agreed services.

Any applicable taxes and statutory charges will be addressed in accordance with applicable law and the agreed commercial terms.

Customers must make payments according to the agreed payment schedule and use the payment methods authorised by R-Logistic.

Additional costs arising from changes in shipment details, inaccurate information, delays outside our reasonable control, or additional services may be charged where permitted by the agreed terms and applicable law.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact details and pickup and delivery addresses.
  • Disclosing the correct nature, quantity, weight, and dimensions of the cargo.
  • Identifying fragile, valuable, hazardous, restricted, or special-handling goods before booking.
  • Providing documents, permits, and authorisations required for the shipment.
  • Ensuring that goods are lawfully owned or authorised for transportation.
  • Arranging access to pickup and delivery locations.
  • Ensuring that goods are ready for collection at the agreed time.
  • Paying the agreed charges and any properly applicable additional fees.

Customers must not provide misleading shipment information or request transportation of prohibited goods.

Where inaccurate or incomplete information affects safety, pricing, vehicle selection, permits, or delivery, we may request clarification, revise the quotation, or decline or suspend the affected service where lawful and reasonably necessary.

6. Packing, Loading, and Unloading

The responsibilities for packing, loading, unloading, unpacking, and handling will depend on the service booked and the quotation or written agreement.

Where packing is included, customers should disclose fragile, high-value, delicate, or specially handled items before the work begins.

Customers should inspect goods and identify any visible damage at delivery and report concerns promptly through our official contact channels.

Any claim relating to damage, loss, or handling will be assessed under the applicable booking terms, evidence available, and relevant law.

7. Restricted and Prohibited Goods

Customers must not offer goods for transportation that are prohibited by law or that cannot lawfully be carried under applicable transportation, safety, or regulatory requirements.

Examples may include illegal substances, unauthorised weapons, explosives, improperly declared hazardous materials, and other restricted goods.

Hazardous, regulated, or specially controlled cargo may only be accepted where lawful, properly declared, and supported by the necessary documentation, permits, packaging, and transport arrangements.

R-Logistic may refuse, suspend, or discontinue a shipment where there is a reasonable safety, compliance, or legal concern.

8. Delivery Timelines and Delays

We make reasonable efforts to coordinate pickup and delivery according to the agreed schedule.

However, delivery times may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, vehicle breakdowns, government restrictions, permit delays, loading or unloading issues, strikes, accidents, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where a material delay becomes known to us, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate relevant information to the customer.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, estimated delivery times are not an unconditional guarantee. This provision does not exclude liability for delays where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

9. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customers should contact R-Logistic as early as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule a booking.

Cancellation charges, advance-payment treatment, and rescheduling conditions will depend on the booking confirmation, the stage of service, resources already arranged, and the applicable agreement.

Where a vehicle or transport arrangement has already been dispatched, packing or loading has commenced, or non-refundable third-party costs have been incurred, those circumstances may be considered when assessing any refund or additional charge, subject to applicable law.

Any cancellation or refund request should include the booking reference, customer details, and reason for the request.

Nothing in this section overrides any mandatory cancellation or refund rights that apply under law.

10. Loss, Damage, and Claims

Customers should notify us promptly if they discover missing goods, visible damage, or another issue relating to a shipment.

Where possible, customers should retain photographs, delivery records, inventory lists, invoices, packaging, and other relevant evidence.

We will review claims in accordance with the booking terms, available documentation, applicable insurance arrangements, and relevant Indian law.

Responsibility for loss or damage may depend on the nature of the service, the condition and packing of the goods, the circumstances of the incident, the agreed allocation of responsibilities, and any applicable statutory requirements.

No provision in these terms removes liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Customers should ask about available insurance or transit-risk coverage before booking, particularly for valuable vehicles, machinery, fragile goods, or high-value commercial shipments. Coverage should not be assumed unless confirmed.

11. Insurance and Special Cargo

Insurance, if available, will be subject to the terms, exclusions, limits, and conditions of the relevant insurance policy or written arrangement.

Customers must disclose accurate information about cargo value, dimensions, weight, nature, and any special handling requirements.

Oversized and over-dimensional cargo may require route surveys, special vehicles, permits, escorts, or other arrangements. Any such requirements and charges should be confirmed before the booking is finalised.

R-Logistic does not represent that every shipment is insured unless coverage is expressly confirmed for that shipment.

12. Third-Party Transport Partners

Depending on the shipment, we may coordinate with independent drivers, vehicle owners, transport operators, or other service providers.

Where third-party partners are involved, their role and the applicable booking arrangements will depend on the particular service.

We will use reasonable care in coordinating the agreed transportation service. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibilities that R-Logistic retains under its contract or applicable law.

Customers should follow the confirmed booking instructions and communicate shipment-related concerns through the designated contact channels.

13. Website Use and Information

The information on our website is provided to describe our services and help customers submit transportation enquiries.

Although we aim to keep website information accurate and current, service availability, prices, routes, and operating conditions may change.

Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quotation does not automatically create a confirmed transport contract.

Customers should rely on the final quotation, booking confirmation, and applicable written terms for the specific shipment.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, R-Logistic will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of anticipated profits or business opportunities, arising from the use of our website or services.

Any responsibility for cargo loss, damage, delay, or other direct loss will be determined by the applicable contract, the facts of the incident, and relevant law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where a liability limitation is permitted, it will be interpreted in accordance with applicable law and the specific booking agreement.

15. Privacy and Personal Information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information submitted through our website and in connection with our services.

By using our website, you should review the Privacy Policy before submitting personal or shipment information.

We will handle personal information in accordance with applicable law and our published Privacy Policy.

16. Force Majeure

Neither party will be treated as having breached an obligation to the extent performance is prevented or materially delayed by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters, floods, severe weather, public emergencies, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, or major disruptions to transport infrastructure.

The affected party should notify the other party as soon as reasonably practicable and take reasonable steps to reduce the impact.

This clause does not automatically remove payment obligations for services already provided or any legal rights that cannot be excluded.

17. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Customers should first contact R-Logistic to report service concerns, billing disputes, delivery issues, or claims relating to a shipment.

Please provide your booking reference, shipment details, a description of the issue, and any relevant supporting documents.

We will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable period, subject to the information and investigation required.

If the matter cannot be resolved directly, the parties may pursue remedies available under applicable law.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory legal protections.

Any dispute may be referred to a competent court or other legally authorised forum having jurisdiction under applicable law.

Proposed jurisdiction: [Insert the appropriate city and state after legal review.]

Nothing in this section limits mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in our services, booking processes, website functionality, or applicable laws.

Revised terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date or last-updated date.

The terms applicable to a particular booking will also be subject to any valid written agreement and mandatory legal requirements.
